The Public Benefit Enterprise of the Municipality of Thessaloniki (KEDITH) responding to the new demands and challenges of the times and always having the mood of modernization, plans a pioneering provision of digital services for the Citizens of Thessaloniki, children and adults.
Following the initiatives of the Ministry of Education and Religions, which, in response to the developments, encourages and supports distance education with digital tools, we design an innovative program for the bodies of the Local Self-Government. Distance education is not a substitute for lifelong learning. However, it maintains close contact of the trainees with the teachers and the educational institution, when the lifelong learning is not possible or in parallel with it.
KEDITH plans to create new free distance education and counseling programs for adults, as well as new creative distance learning programs for children. The new service will be addressed to the citizens of the Municipality of Thessaloniki (in the 5 municipal communities of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and in the Municipal Unit of Triandria).
