KEDITH launched the “KEDITH Cisco Academy” in November 2020 in the frame of the Cisco Networking Academy program. KEDITH is aware of the current requirements applying in specialized digital technology openings. Its objective is to support the modernization of services and to face unemployment by the development of digital skills.

KEDITH Cisco Academy is part of an international information and communication technology (ICT) orientation program. This enables students to acquire skills at a theoretical and practical level, so that they can work in the field of New Technologies and the Digital Economy.

Through the new FREE educational services of K.E.D.TH. citizens of Thessaloniki will gain additional knowledge in the field of information technology and will have more opportunities in the labor market in the field of digital technology. Specifically, the K.E.D.I.TH. Academy will offer FREE training services in both special skills for network engineers (in Cisco equipment) and in other highly wanted professional skills.

The courses will be offered FREE OF CHARGE either through web-tools (synchronous and asynchronous) of distance education, or live at the new International Center for Digital Transformation and Digital Skills. The Center is hosted by the Municipality of Thessaloniki in the preserved building of the Old Slaughterhouses and aims to include Thessaloniki in the map of the digital avant-garde and to contribute to the education of citizens in digital technologies.
