On Sunday 7/11/2021 the Municipal Youth Council of Thessaloniki held the first Lifelong Discussion on "Your Sheikh of Tomorrow", in the "Panagiotis Papadopoulos" room of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Crafts.
The historical context of the creation and development of the forest as well as the current situation were at the center of the discussion. Additional areas of discussion were its sustainable management, the problems that exist in the forest and in its area in general, but also the possible solutions. Significant interventions were made both in relation to the natural diversity and the environmental importance of the forest, as well as in relation to the part of human interventions that have disturbed its ecosystem.
We would like to thank the male / female speakers for their participation and their very interesting suggestions.
A big thank you to all the people who honored us with their presence and strengthened the discussion through the interventions and the questions that were asked.
